Michigan Assisted Living Association (MALA) is the leader in advocacy, education, and resources for providers of residential, assisted living, and other community-based services. MALA is a nonprofit organization with members providing services to over 30,000 persons throughout the state. These persons include older adults and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders, traumatic brain injuries, or physical disabilities.

Expanding Our Impact

Introducing Our Education & Resource Center

We are pleased to announce the launch of MALA’s Education and Resource Center, an initiative designed to deliver accessible, high-quality, and transformative training and educational opportunities for residential, assisted living, and other community-based service providers. The Education & Resource Center (ERC) will serve as a hub for some training assets and learning resources. The ERC allows for new grant opportunities that broaden impact across the state. Structured as a related but independent MALA entity, the ERC further enhances our capacity to support providers, caregivers, and the communities they serve.
