Michigan Assisted Living Association (MALA) is the leader in advocacy, education, and resources for providers of residential, assisted living, and other community-based services. MALA is a nonprofit organization with members providing services to over 30,000 persons throughout the state. These persons include older adults and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders, traumatic brain injuries, or physical disabilities.
Expanding Our Impact
Introducing Our Education & Resource Center
We’re excited to launch a new 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to education, training, and workforce development in assisted living. Our Education & Resource Center will serve as the future home for our growing library of training assets and learning resources—while also allowing us to pursue new grant opportunities that expand our impact statewide.
Structured as a related but independent nonprofit, this new entity strengthens our ability to support providers, caregivers, and the communities they serve. We encourage you to learn more about our vision and what this means for the future of assisted living education in Michigan.
